Ethiopian Long-Haired Sheep Leather
The earpads for the Edition 8 EX headphones are made from fuchsia-coloured leather from the Ethiopian long-haired sheep. This is the most precious leather available and provides the finest isolation of any leather.
Sturdy Metallic Structure
The metal headband of the Edition 8 EX typifies latest scientific knowledge in headband design and development. This unique headband design made by Ultrasone is highly developed and technical precision work.
S-Logic EX® technology
S-Logic EX® is a revolutionary refinement of ULTRASONE’s patented S-Logic technology and is making its world début in this anniversary masterpiece. This innovation is based on a funnel-shaped arrangement for the sound transducer, oriented downwards to the front, which results in a much more spatial forward positioning effect. The listening experience is practically indistinguishable from that of studio monitors and, unlike speakers, is not dependent upon room acoustics. The main purpose of S-Logic EX® technology was to further optimise the already impressive S-Logic effect.
